all we need is a pillow owlet.

We felt a little crafty on Tuesday so out popped our scrap material box with all the little leftover bits and pieces from the fabric hamper baskets we made last week.

This is what we could re use:

tiny pieces of pretty floral cheese cloth

a sober looking grey & white linen

dark looking grey lace we no longer needed

and some left over felt bits.

For a long while , we really didn't do much except sit in rather uncomfortable chairs around the kitchen table drinking tea and catching up. Then it dawned on us : what we needed at that moment were some owlet-pillows to support our sore backs!

So we took out our needle box and stitched our first owlet-pillow. It was a bit chilly outside on that day so we swaddled our little owlet and kept her safe until she finds a good home...or chair.

to watch it become something

we all then heeded
